In addition to being selected as the site for Pinedale's new elementary school, the BloomField will emphasize bike paths, parks and sidewalks to connect people with adjoining neighborhoods and commercial services. Priority was given to high development standards and covenants to ensure that the neighborhood maintains its quality look and feel well into the future.
Stream enhancement work, already underway, will make Barber Creek attractive to resident walkers, fishing enthusiasts, and bird watchers. Ultimately, Barber Creek will connect three large fishing ponds and a 20-acre open space corridor, making the area appealing to both residents and wildlife.
Each parcel is currently zoned and entitled, with utility services complete to a number of primary commercial and residential locations. Flexibility is a key ingredient to the success of the BloomField master plan, as each parcel can be sized to meet a variety of needs and/or uses.
